THE NUTCRACKER
Contessi Ballet has been performing the holiday classic for over 40 years. This year, our production, entitled "Clara's Enchanted Dream, The Land of Sweets" featured an original storyline and new choreography.
SPRING PERFORMANCES
Each year, Contessi Ballet puts on a showcase featuring shorter works of classical ballet and original contemporary pieces. The school most recently presented Giselle in 2 Acts and before that a beautiful rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The school also presented, twice, a full-length classical work, Coppelia, in 3 Acts. Past spring performances have included excerpts from Cinderella, Swan Lake, The Princess and the Frog, Sinatra Suite, Alice in Wonderland, and Hansel and Gretel.
